Hossa-Hossa, ein wunderdickes Wuki - Danke von Herzen an alle , die und uns 2011 lieb hatten & gehasst haben, und v.a. Bussi an unsere Gut Kronegg, Youki-Kleinstadtkonzerte-Schl8thof-Ann&Pat -16A-KV Dezibel, Interstellar, Bug, visual Guerilla- Käpt´n Daniel, Sunprojects, Giovi, Aldrax "Spezis", denen wir Wuki´s dieses Jahr durch unterstützenden "Beistand" an unserem neuen "Libell"-Vinyl-Release zu besonderem Dank verpflichtet sind. Weiters sieht der Plan für 2012 vor , dass sich Wunschkinder & Supasex wieder mit Eifer neuen Material zuwenden. Es stehen im Oktober 2 feine Live- Termine ins Wunschkinder Haus und zwar am 22.10 im ehrwürdigen alten Schl8hof in Wels sowie am 23.10 in der Tabakfabrik in Passau, beides im Rahmen der waschaechten Kleinstadtkonzerte. Also schauts vorbei !

Mit großer Freude teilen die Wukis mit, dass im Frühjahr 2011 ein neuer Wunschkinder-Longplayerschatz, der eine sehr liebenswerte Ansammlung von romantischen Serenaden, kühnsten Passacaglien und erweiternden Fantasien enthält,erscheinen wird. Voraussichtlich in Form von 2x12" Vinyl, der Arbeitsprozeß läuft zügig voran und das Material ist superb......

Studiotermin- also von 23. bis 25.9. werden wir uns in die Katakomben des Red Room Soundlabs in Wien zurückziehen, um dort drei neue Nummern aufzunehmen!

Also - das ursprünglich in Vorchdorf geplante Festl mit den Wukis am 16.7., das ja von Bürgermeister Franz Kofler verboten wurde, wird also weder in Vorchdorf noch am 16. Juli stattfinden. Wann und wo? Keine Ahnung! O-Ton des Bürgermeisters: "Hätte ich gleich gewusst,um welche Musik es sich handelt, hätte ich von vorherein nein gesagt...
Der letzte Live- Termin am 25. 6. (Riesenhof/Linz) war ein echtes Erlebnis: nach fünf Nummern hat uns die Polizei abgedreht, weils den stinkreichen Urfahraner Nachbarn zu laut war. Eh schon wurscht, denn fünf Nummern bei Zimmerlautstärke sind auch beschissen! Naja, zuerst der Bürgermeister, dann die Polizei, sind wir eigentlich zu irgendetwas gut? Ich weiß es nicht... we are fucked! Und diese ganze Musikantenstadl-Partie kann sich bei mir mal anstellen zum Arschlecken, ich hab seither eh Durchfall!

Millenium silvesterparty, Hans & Jörg had a few beers and decided to make a
band...
Together with drummer Franz and singer Herbert they founded "Sumsibost", a
very senseless, strange sounding hardcore-projekt, in which the first goal
was fuckin' your guitar and smash the drumset . We didn't think about it
very much...
In summer 2000, guitarist Philipp and singer Andrea entered the band. Now we
were 6 rockers, changed the name into "Wunschkinder" and it all became
louder (and more sensless?)
2001: We became something like more serious, and Herbert left the band, it
didn't work anymore, but we're still friends!
We had our first gig in Cinema Ebensee, the fact that Jörg was pretty ill
and not able to play didn't disturb the others, wasn't it a wonderful
occasion to see how much Jörg is worth in this band? Yes, thanks!
2002: After a few more gigs we tried to record some songs in our rehersal
room with good friend Wassi.
The result was an 11-track selfrelease in spring 2003, it got some cool
reviews.
About this time Andrea left the band, but we soon found a great substitute:
Veronika, damn, she's really singing!
But, sadly, she didn’t sing for more than half a year, she got pregnant...
Bye bye, Vronsky!
This was the beginning of a very long, very tourbulent time for us.
We had no singer anymore and didn't know what to play and so on...
2004: Don't ask anything of this fuckin' year!
2005: Welcome back! We released "I Am My Shepherd", a beautiful proof of
being alive again. We just wanted to record a demo, we recorded it by
ourselves, (we don't know much about recording) and had no idea of what we
want but suddenly it was a release.
Now Philipp and Jörg are singing, so this is our actual line up:
2x guitar: Philipp & Jörg, 1x bass: Hans, 1x drums: Franz
We had a few gigs again and earned good critics, we recorded a
three-song-demo in Red Room Soundlabs near vienna in September, it was quite
good.
Sadly, Hans left us for 5 months, he was in London to get better educated...
He is back and currently we are prepared for upcoming gigs.
MUSIC
To affect live gigs, you may say that it is Noise-Rock, sometimes very slow,
somtimes noisy fuckin' loud, so these are the two poles we are acting in.
Most songs got a strong instrumental base, mainly the vocals are acting in
the background.
One of the most important things for us ist trying to make something
different, but anyhow in a straight, melodic way.
